There is an article written by MARCUSM about abortion, and while the writing seemed intelligent, the FACTS WERE ALL WRONG. I am a nurse, going to become a nurse practitioner..THAT MEANS I CAN diagnose treat and prescribe drugs one day..I have knowledge and education in healthcare, as I HELP PERFORM ABORTIONS ON a daily basis..I ALSO HAVE CDC and UNIVERSITY PROOF ABOUT abortion..WHICH they do not..
ABORTIONS do NOT cause FUTURE BIRTH DEFECTS..BIRTH DEFECTS ARE CAUSED BY chromosonal abnormalities, and abortion does not magically chnage peopels chromosones around..sorry, doesn't work that way.. Rountine D&C , and D&C for miscarriage is done THE SAME way an aboriton is, and THEY DO NOT cause birth defects...
INcompetent cervix could be an issue with the dilation that is involved with aboritons and D&C, but is normally rare unless MULTIPLE 4-6 aboritons happen.. The there is an increased risk for your cervix to be weakened, but normally with early abortions the dilation is so small that this would not be an issue.
YOU look at the CDC website etc... ABORTION is statistically 11 times safer than childbirth, if done in the first 12 weeks.
The risk of abortion complications is minimal; less than 1% of all abortion patients experience a major complication.[23]
There is no evidence of childbearing problems among women who have had a vacuum aspiration abortion, the most common procedure, within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.[24]
