Marriage based on frienship, no attraction what so ever

I am married almost two years and my marriage is based only on friendship. We were friends for few years and decided that that is all we need and got married. There is no attraction between us, any passion, excitement…well I am not sure what I meant by this, but let’s say there is no intense sexual desire. I am ok with this, but I am worried are those things critical to a marriage?

I don’t think so. As I am getting old I truly believe that successful marriage is based on friendship and not on passion or sexual desire. My good friend also married a guy where there wasn’t attraction what so ever, but they seem happy to me. That woman and her husband continue to live a content life together as a couple and I can't say for sure if they've ever had a clothes-ripping romp in the bed or not, but day
to day, they seem happy.
