Medicaid coverage in IL ~ extractions covered?

Hello all,
Can someone tell me definitively if tooth extractions are covered by Medicaid (Public Aid, not Medicare) in IL? I have two teeth that I've been told by a dentist need root canals, which aren't covered by Medicaid, and I'd just like to have them removed... is that even an option?
