I am 47 years old and it seems that menopause is slowly taking over me. I have cramps and headaches all the time. Doctor prescribed me with Mediprin and I would just like to know a little more about this drug. I am also interested in Mediprin interactions with other drugs, is there any dangerous combination? My mother had some complications with her arthritis meds, so I am just being cautious.
It is a good thing that you are. The drug you are taking is not only for pain, but for all sorts of inflammation in our bodies, including arthritis. When we talk about interactions between Medipren and some other substances, we have to mention alcohol and aspirin. Do not take alcohol while using this drug and if you have to take aspirin, take Medipren 8 hours before or 30 minutes after the aspirin.
