Hi. I am 42 years old and I am in my menopause. I still have my periods, although irregular. I sweat all the time and I can`t sleep very well. My husband wants to have sex, but I think that is not a good idea, during my menopause. What do you think?

Hi. Menopause is a natural process, which happens to all the women. It is not some disease. Of course you can have sex. However, if you still have your periods, you can stay pregnant. If you want to prevent unintended pregnancies, you have to use hormonal contraceptive methods. They are the most effective. It will relieve your symptoms of menopause and you will feel better. Estrogen therapy is safe, but a short-term option.
