Hi. My name is Shannon. I am 30 years old and my Husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. I have been off the pill since April of 2005. This month my period came a week early and for about 5 days now its been nothing but brown old blood. I haven't really had any red mentrual bleeding. My periods for the most part are regular with no abnormal bleeding. Is this normal? Should I take a pregnancy test or could there be something else wrong. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
Hi Shannon, sometimes the body takes quite a long time to get over being on the pill, why dont you go along to the doctor if you are concerned about period changes, l think that most periods are bright red, as the uterous is shedding its lining, and then the old brown blood at the end. Think you should go to the Doctors, so it will ellivate your worrying
