Hi. I suffer from ADHD and I was prescribed with Metadate. I heard Metadate is for treating kids with ADHD. Is there Metadate for adults?

Hi. Metadate, or Methylphenidate, is a central nervous stimulant. It treats ADHD, narcolepsy and some other conditions. It is a drug for children and adults. Metadate is for persons who suffer from ADHD, who are overactive, impulsive and with poor concentration. Metadate is only a part of the treatment program. The program also includes psychological, educational and social treatment. I suffer from ADHD too, and I take Ritallin. I was taking Metadate first, but it gave me a chest pain.
