Metastatic Breast Cancer - How good is Abraxane?

My wife has breast cancer that is metastatic, she didn’t respond good on chemotherapy, so we are considering other options. Can anyone tell us how good is Abraxane? Is it better that Taxol? We heard that lots of people experienced side effects with Taxol.

I did some research on how Abraxane is good for metastatic breast cancer and I run on information that clinical trials in 454 patients with this condition showed that Abraxane achieved almost a doubling of tumor response rate compared to that obtained by Taxol. Plus Abraxane appeared to be better tolerated than Taxol, though Abraxane, like Taxol, does produce a variety of side effects.
