Methatrexate for Relapsed Testicular Cancer

I'd like to know if there is any medical experience out there for the treatment of relapsed testicular cancer with methatrexate. I have had BEP, VIP, Stemcell transplant, Taxo/Gemzar and most recently radiation treatment but the cancer still returns. Doctor now recommends methatrexate as the options are really becoming exhausted...
