Hi, my sister is 26 years old and she was methadone addicted. Now she is on recovery program. Her baby is only two months old but as her brother I am very concerned for baby too. I would like to know what long prognosis for her child looks like. Thank you.
Hi, my friend also was methadone addicted and she has little baby. She consulted several doctors to tell her how dangerous that can be for her child. Fortunately prognosis is very good and methadone doesn’t cause any organic or mental damage. You don’t have reason to worry about.

I am 38 yrs of age, and pregnate. I have been taking Methadonenow for approximately 4 to 5 months,I have inquired to different girls that have been in this situation weather or not the baby was addicted to methadone.Some said yes some say no, It seems to me If you are addicted the baby would also be?

hi,when my girlfriend was pregnant with our son,our doc told us we had no worries.b.s!!!the nurses had to ween our newborn off with morphine doses to stop the withdraws which were scary as hell.heavy tremors...then c.a.s got involved because we were on the methedone program.we went through so much b.s because of a hospital social worker.tricia mills.north bay hospital.ont.real b- - - - -!!!
