Methotrexate and Vicodin

I have Sarcoidosis. I have just been prescribed Methotrexate. I had my first dose today. Tonight I find myself in severe pain. I am afraid to take the Vicodin that has been prescribed for pain. I can find warnings about NSAIDS but nothing for Vicodin, is it safe?
