I am on the mini pill (progesterone only) and have been taking it at exactly 10pm every day for the past month.

However, I have read that it is more effective if you take it about 3 hours before you have sex. As my boyfriend and I normally have sex late evening, would it be ok for me to change the time I take the pill to say 7pm?

If i did this, i.e. take tomorrow's pill at 7pm after taking today at 10pm, would I still be covered?

Thanks.

That is not true actually, the mini pill is effective regardless of how close to take it to having sex.

IF you want to change the time, you can always take it earlier, but do not take it later, as that will reduce the effectiveness.
