Miscarriage HELP!

I found out about 3 weeks ago that I had miscarried when I went for a scan. I should have been 10 weeks pregnant but found out that the baby had died at 8 1/2 weeks. I opted for the medical procedure instead of the D&C and this took place on the 3rd March. Can anyone please tell me when I can expect to have my next period. Do I count from the time I actually lost the baby or from the date in which I had my procedure done and when I bleed? I'm desperatly wanting to try for a baby again and have been adviced to wait for a period before doing so, as you can imagine i'm desperate for it to come!
Anyones advice would be much appreciated! Smile
ALSO I also noticed that I have been getting a brown discharge for the past few days, no pains and it does not smell so its definetly not an infection. I stopped bleeding from my miscarriage just under a week after the procedure was done. Could this be the start of my period???
