Missed period and lots of questions.

Hey guys. First of all I just wanted to say that I really found the forums helpful. But I have a few questions of my own that I wouldn't mind a little help on.

My period runs really regular - about a 30 day cycle. Last month I should have started on the 22nd, and here it is the 2nd of Jan and still no period. I took a pregnancy test back on the 25th of december, but it came up negative. Today I thought for sure I had started because I was bleeding some, but it was real light and only lasted for about 2 hours.

I have been pretty sick recently, like since the 26th and was wondering if maybe that could be attributing to me missing my period for so long,

I think you should retake that pregnancy test. When the egg implants it can cause light bleeding like what you described. This is only my opinion of course.
