| Hi. I am sixteen years old. Starting around September 1st, I had three days of nausea... and then the pain began. It's mostly upper back pain, like right between the shoulder blades, leading around to my ribs (usually the left one hurts more than the right). Even though my last period was August 17th, I assumed that it was PMS and that I'd be getting my period soon. I took different medicines for it, but it barely numbed the pain. I still have yet to have my period, and the pain is driving me crazy. I'm not sexually active, nor do I play any sports, and I've been eating normally. I have had some vaginal discharge, but that's it. I have had some lower back pain, too, but not a lot. It's mostly upper, occasionally mid-back, pain. My period is about a week late, but could it still be PMS? My mom says that the pain shouldn't last that long, but I don't know. Can anyone help...? |
