Posted: 05/29/07 - 16:21 Post subject: Morning after pill/lower abdominal lump and bleeding? |
Hi,
In mid-March, we had a "condom accident," so we got Plan B. We were kind of stupid(?) and had unprotected sex a couple of times (that afternoon, since we were getting the pills, in between the pills and a bit after the second pill). Bleeding occurred a week later--figured everything was fine. Since then, experiencing off and on very light spotting.. exhausted.. nauseated.. weird lower abdominal (central) pain when walking very much.. and a small lump in the lower (central) abdomen.. A pregnancy test in early april was negative.. any thoughts? |

I'd heard there could be weird/lasting effects from Plan B, but was just thinking that two months of very light (pinkish liquid) bleeding one or two days a week or every other week was weird.. and the lower abdominal pain when walking. Friend thought the lump is probably a hernia. It's really small, though.. and doesn't have the typical hernia-pain when laughing or coughing.. Just when walking. Biking isn't too bad, though. I was thinking of just going on regular BC because generally that seems to be what they prescribe for weird hormonal things.. and because we've seemed kind of "accident-prone" in the past few months. Also, I thought it might do something for acne and minor depression. |
