Hi, I am 17 years old, and it often happens to me that I get an erection when I wake up in the morning. I can’t get out of the bed, because it would be too embarrassing if my parents saw me. I think it is called morning wood. Does anyone else have this problem?
Hi, it happened to me many times. I heard that all men have erection several times a night, and sometimes they wake up with it. That’s how we get morning wood. The erection over night most often happens during REM sleeping, and it’s called nocturnal penile tumescence. Morning wood is often a result of wet dreams. Morning wood is especially often in adolescent mails, because of their hormones. It doesn’t need any physical stimulation. We have erection several times a night, and it can last 100 minutes. There are so many things that we don’t even know about ourselves.
