Stimulant medications, Ritalin or Metylphetamine, Cylest or Pemoline and Dexdrine or Damphetamine, are effective in reducing symptoms of A. D. D. in adults. Parentage of positive response to these medicaments is from 60 to 80. There is no tolerance to the drugs and no euphoric effects. However, before starting a treatment or in your case changing it, you should consult with your doctor. There are some side effects, such as insomnia, considering that this stimulation medicament. Other side effects are weight loss as a result of appetite suppression, abdominal pain, headaches. When stimulant is not option for treating A. D. D. in adults, some are recommending Srattlera for adults. This medicament treats depression, but it is also been found that improves symptoms of A. D. D. In any case, I strongly recommend you seeing doctor before changing anything in your treatment.
