My husband is in the United States Air Force and when he was filling out his paperwork when he left for Basic, he put me (HIS WIFE!!!) down as his only beneficiary if he dies. His mother (who hates me btw) called him earlier tonight and told him to re-do his paperwork with them as the primary beneficiary and me as the secondary splitting it 50/50. We are trying to get pregnant and start our lives and she is acting like that doesn't matter. What if we have kids and he dies overseas? He would want the money to go to me so that they can be taken care of and it can be put back for our kids when they get older. He tried to explain this to her and she just blew him off. If you have any advice on what to do with this crazy b!^(h I'd greatly appreciate it!
