Mucus in Baby's stool

My 11 week old has been experiencing similar symptoms and also had the rotavirus vacine at 2 months. Symtoms began about a week ago. She went from 1 to 2 poops a day to about 8-10. When it began she had one poop with mucus and a tiny bit of blood. First few days it was yellow and seedy grainy then green grainy and is now back to yellow. She is in fine spirits and feeding about 4-5 times a day, sleeping through the night. She is not dehydrated - I see her blowing bubbles a lot. I have been keeping an eye on temperature but it has been averaging 36.5 celcius.

I have been delaying going to the doctors because all other indications apart from the poop tells me she is fine. I'm going to try cutting out milk and bread in my diet to see if there is any change...

My daughter also got green mucousy stools when she was about 2-3 months old. I discovered that she was getting too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk. I fed her from the same breast two times in a row and then switched to the other breast. Within a few days, her stool changed back to yellow and I never had an issue again. My son had the same problem after his rotavirus vaccination. His stool changed to liquid green and the doctor kept telling me he was fine because he was gaining weight. My son became very colicky and would cry for hours. We kept asking his doctor to do some tests but he wouldn't. After almost 2 months of fighting we finally left the other doc and one more in his facility with no result, we found a new doc somewhere else. He knew immediately how to fix the problem. He put our son on Questrum(sp) which binds to cholesterol and immediately we noticed a difference within 1 day. It took about 30 days to wean him from the 4mg dose to nothing. Also, our new MD did not give our son the subsequent rotavirus vaccinations.

My baby son had the same after four months immunisation. Dark green and dark brown mucus, with blood in his stool. It has been two month!

His Pediatritian suspects food allergy, but I have stopped most common allergic food in my diet (including diairy food), his stool is still bad.

I suspected the 4 months immunisation but non of the doctors believe it's possible.

Does any of you bub recover at all? how long did it take?

My son is about due to the 6 months immunisation. I am very wooried.
