NO... Actually, MBPS can be described as psycho illness... It is when an individual (but it is usually a mother) deliberately makes another person (usually her own preschool child) sick or convinces others that the person is sick. She may even exaggerate, fabricate, or induce symptoms. Result is that doctors usually order tests, and sometimes even hospitalize the child or perform surgery to determine the cause. What’s the point, you’ll ask? Well, typically, the mother then feels satisfied when she has the attention and sympathy of doctors, nurses, and others who come into contact with her and her child. In some cases, because the parent appears to be very caring and attentive, often no one suspects any wrongdoing!!! Sometimes even the most experienced doctors can miss the meaning of the inconsistencies in the child's symptoms.
