I have muscle twitching in my foot and I know this is something people with fibromyalgia deal with, so I don’t know could this be a symptom? I’ve had this twitching in my foot on and off, but just recently I’ve had it for about a week, a constant twitching. Now I am just taking a muscle relaxant to help me sleep but it does not get rid of the twitching. What I could do to stop the twitching? Thanks for help.

Yeah, muscle twitching can be very irritating.I get themsometimes in my eye and it's annoying. I would suggest that you try a combination magnesium/malic acid supplement, because Magnesium deficiency can sometimes be the cause of twitching. Magnesium also helps to relax the muscle.

Hi,

As I know. fibromyalgia is a chronic condition causing pain, stiffness, and tenderness of the muscles, tendons, and joints. Fibromyalgia is also characterized by restless sleep, awakening feeling tired, fatigue, anxiety, depression, and disturbances in bowel function. Fibromyalgia was formerly known as fibrositis.

Dr Balch's nutritional team has created a formula containing powerful ingredients designed to address pain and muscle damage. Components are included to help normalize the nervous system as well as a combination of nutrients for total health and recovery. 5-HTP is a precursor to serotonin, a important neurotransmitter involved in sending messages through the nervous system. Long term use of SAMe may help reduce pain and depression. Vitamin E and Vitamin C are powerful antioxidants that fight against damage induced by free radicals in the muscle. A Complete Multivitamin Mix containing essential nutrients and antioxidants provides basic protection for the body.

If you are concerned or unsure about your symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider for professional medical advice.
