My 3 week sinus infection is causing me despair

Hi for the past 3 weeks I have had a bad sinus infection. I have been all puffy and swollen under my eyes and around my nose and have felt extremely dizzy, sick and depressed. My doctor has given me 2 lots of Klaracid and another lot of cefalexin which has still not cleared this up. I am still having pounding headaches and feel really dizzy and tired and im still swollen under my eyes and nose. Is there anything else that I can do to clear this up, would a cream antibiotic like naseptim help?

Make sure your ENT is culturing your things he is pulling out of your nose. If he is not doing this then how does he know what bacteria or fungus to treat you for, broad spectrum are good antibiotics but to know what grows in a peetree dish allows the doctor to pinpoint fungus or bacteria or both.. I have chronic fungial sinuitis and I have been to a many a ENT's and I am currently with the only one who ever told me about fungus and if you are in the south or transition area more than likely it is a fungal infection.
