My SON NewBorn Seizures -- Reyes Wong

My son had seizure when he was 4days old. His whole body will cur and hands & legs will raised. Whole body become stiffen & eyes goes upwards.
Initally it will occur once or thrice per day. But it seem it getting soo frequent - 7 times per day. So immediately we send him to A&E...He was given phenobarbitone and the seizure were under control for a few days...but after he apply the oral phenobar on his 2nd or 3rd day his seizures occur twice a day. So Neuro claim that it might be other causes that cause the seizure...So they intend to wean off the phenobar to lower dose..He had reflux and was on medication.

So after all the MRI & CT scan - everything normal. EEG show occ spikes over bilateral frontal region - is it okie? What that mean? Cause he does a video EEG 24hrs...and it did capture the seizures...but it was normal...So the Neuro told us -- the gesture look like seizures..& there's no abnormal wave during the seizures occur..So we were discharged.

But the next day...he was admitted to hospital again..cause his seizure soo different from last time...his hand & leg jerking and eyes uprolling...it seem like his seizures has become soo serious.

So doctor confirm he got FITs so now he taking carbamazepines...I'm not sure will he go retarded when he grow older...
I'm soo worried of his development stages..HELP can anyone tell mi ????
Will he grow well?
Will he become retarded in later stage?
What cause him to behave this way?
