Topomax is used for a series of conditions such as migranes, seizuers, bi-polar, depression and so on. I would stongly reccommend that she stops taking this med till speaking with her obgyn. Also let the ob know that she has been taking it up until now. Its hard to say exactly what the side could be because there are so many possibilities. Make an appt with the ob asap and seize any and all medications till you get an okay from the doctor. It is always better to be safe then sorry.
