My father diagnosed with adult aquired asthma

My father diagnosed with adult acquired asthma! He just woke one morning and wasnt able to breathe. My husband took him to emergency room. In the ER, my father got therapy and was left home. All this happened few days ago. We are now waiting for doctors appointment and are doing some research about the subject. Please, if you have personal experience or some others, write, we will be helpful.

A friend of mine was, for the same reason, late visitor in emergency room. She 36 years old and is mother of two children. Soon after she was diagnosed with adult acquired asthma, hers life changed completely. She had to quit her job, because there was days when she just wasnt able to go there. I hope that your father wont have problems of this kind, but he must expect some changes.
