How dangerous is SLE condition? My grandmother has it and I see how hard it is for her to live with that illness even though so far, the only visible symptom is a distinctive facial rash. Anyway, is this a hereditary disease, since she has it, will I have SLE too?

Well, there are numerous factors that might be responsible for the occurrence of this condition but so far the exact cause was not determined. And there are numerous symptoms manifesting this illness. You need to know that most likely, there is some hereditary risk involved, but as I said, nothing has been firmly confirmed.
