I would like to know something more about this disease. I would appreciate all your replies. Thank you in advance.

Hello. Systemic sclerosis is also known as scleroderma. It is a progressive, but rare disease. It leads to hardening and tightening of connective tissues and skin. In some cases, scleroderma can affect internal organs and blood vessels. It belongs to a group of connective tissue disorders. Antibodies attack structures of connective tissue. Your grandmother should be persistent in treatment. However, it cannot be cured. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
