My heart skips alot, never has before

I am 27 year old and I have started experiencing cardiac problems. My heart skips alot, never has before. What is also strange I have always been in body workout, I am in excellent shape without any extra weight. Yet, I have this problem. How serious could this be? Should I go to a doctor immediately?

I think that you already know the answer. A visit to a doctor will tell whether it is something serious or not. Well, when you think about it, everything concerning heart is serious, so... Anyway, it is possible that you are suffering from some sort of arrhythmia. Still, after doctor's exam (will probably include EKG) you will have more info.
