My husband doesn't want a child

I wish there is some way for me to talk to my husband directly about this issue. I am afraid that he doesn’t want a child. I am 32 years old and we have been married for three years now. We both have kids from our previous marriages but I love him and I want a child with him too. How can I approach him?

Directly and bluntly. There is nothing to loose, you can only gain from an honest conversation with him. With that said, you should know that his response might not be a positive one, but at least you will know what he is thinking and can act accordingly. And also, you are slowly entering those years when every pregnancy becomes a risky one, so I guess you have no time to waste.
