Hi. I'm 45 year old male and whole my life I wanted to be a layer. I have studied a lot and succeeded somehow to get into one of the best international law colleges. I have finished and started to work as a layer in one small firm. I have never been married.
In the beginning I was very happy with it and have no problems but then my depression problems started.
Everything seamed to be bored.
I've been struggling to figure out what I want to do. It is too late now to start with something else.
What should I do? Should I take some antidepressants and keep on with my old job or something else?

I think I understand the rough period you are passing through just now, because, we all experienced it.
No meter how sometimes we love our occupation- there are periods when nothing seam to work.
Every job evolves and changes. You were right about one thing, maybe it is too late now to take some radical changes in your life but I would not recommend you to take any medications what so ever. You have to do some steps to relieve your symptoms.
Interact with coworkers in small ways. Do not give in to the temptation to isolate yourself. You have, beside your job, to think on your self so make room for yourself in your schedule.
Take 10 minutes at lunch just to go outside and breathe, or take a short walk.
