My mom tried to kill herself three times already. She has always suffered from depression, as my memory can reach. She lives in shelter now and we are not close. What scares me the most, is my genetic pattern. Every time I get depressed, I am afraid of getting more like my mother.

My mom also was trying to kill herself for several times when we were young. But as she never cared for us, and our aunt did, it didn’t leave any serious consequences on my childhood. Probably sounds strange. She used to drink a lot and was depressed because of her lovers. You are not your mother. There is more than genetic pattern that has influence on our faiths.
