My mother suffers from Huntignton. Is it dangerous for me? Will I necessary get it? How it starts and how it goes further progression of symptoms? Will my children get it too? Is there anybody familiar with this family presence of Huntington? Help me, please. It looks so bad and so suffering.

Huntington disease previously known as Huntington's chorea is a very rare inherited neurological disorder. People are born with the defective gene, but usually symptoms do not appear until middle age. The inheritance of HD is very complex but usually each child has a 50 % chance of inheriting the disease if one of his parents has this disease.
