My periods arent normal

Hi my name is Tephani Im 14 yrs old and have been on my period since I was 12 .I started 9/18/04 and its 12/6/06 and I've onle had about five periods ranging from about 4-6 months apart...what should I do?

Not to worry Tephani,
When you first start your menstrual cycle it can be off for the first few months to years due to cheanges in the hormones in your body. As long as you are not having sex and there are no chances of pregnancy, then no worries Smile

I don't want this to scare you, but maybe ask your doctor about plycystic ovarian syndrome. It effects like 10 percent of women or something. I have had it my whole life and it isn't so bad. Ask your doctor to test you for it. If you have it, it is better to find out right away so it can be treated.
