My scrotum itches 24/7. Please help

Hi all. I have a burning itch on the underside of my scrotum 24/7. What’s even worse, it seems to be spreading around the pubic area. What confuses me is that there are absolutely no visible signs of any problem (other than this awful itching). I think it is not an STD because I haven’t had sex for some time now. I haven't seen a doctor so far, but now I’m thinking to do it. What could this be?? Should I see my doc?? Thanks.

It may be a fungus - they are very common in this area of the body, especially during summertime. Clearly, you do need to see GP in order to get proper treatment. I think that is the best thing you can do. Hope this helps.
