My sight prescription is stable, can I have LASIK?

Hello! I have been wearing glasses for two three years. I tried contact lenses but I wasn't patient and I usually forgot eye drops for them. I am really tired of wearing glasses. I would like to wear sun glasses without prescription and look different. I check my eyesight every six months and my prescription is stable. Can I have LASIK?

Hello! I know many people who did LASIK and they were very satisfied with the results. Their vision has been corrected and they have been able to end or reduce their dependence on glasses and contacts. I completely understand your wish to get rid of your glasses but you have to consult your doctor first. Your doctor is the one who will, after all necessary eye exams, decide whether you are good candidate for LASIK or not.
