Hi, I have noticed that my 5 year old son has blisters and welts on his arms. He has been playing in some old house, where nobody has gone for many years. Maybe he got something there?

My 7 year old son has similar things last year and the doctor said it was from a spider. Perhaps, that old house is full of spiders too. We usually have tiny spiders in the house. Or it could be some other bug bite. The bites are about 1/16 inch in diameter, with a small point mark in the center of a small, whitish blister. The area around the blister is usually red and inflamed. You can apply some powder to dry up blisters faster, but they will blow up when they become mature, and new skin will be formed in their place. Maybe, your child should avoid playing there again or you should have it cleaned.
