i got it today during 3rd period and i was like wtf.basically ive made calculations since this has been happening since my freshman yesr(9th)
in high school.Basically in the morning try to have a high carb/protein meal.Lets say at least 2 eggs and some toast. Then have some fruit or something. That will hold until noon or lunch. But sometimes i dont even get nothing to eat at home and my stomach starts to grumble in 1st period.IM like dude stomach can you please stfu.its really annoying and i know other people can hear the "GRUMBLING" because ice heard peoples stomach before.pretty lame |

I'm 16, and I've had this constant feeling of hunger since I was 15. I thought it was because I was having a growth spurt, but I've stopped growing now, and my stomach is always rumbling. Even after I've eaten.
In exams, it's so embarrassing because it's so quiet, and then my stomach makes a REALLY loud rumble!
Haha, how do I stop it?

That happened to me all the time (I'm not one who has omelettes and pancakes every day...who has time/is hungry enough for that?).
Just bring Sports Beans or something to your locker (they're like Gatorade in the form of jelly beans!). When people aren't looking, if you feel like you might grumble, just get a book out of your locker and pop a sports bean or two in your mouth casually. You don't need to fill up to stop your stomach from growling. You just need to have SOME food.
Plus, it's not like Sports Beans have a lot of calories, especially if you only have one or two.
(PS -- um, it doesn't need to be Sports Beans. They're not some patented stop-grumbling medicine. Those just work for me. You can bring anything small and edible, like M&Ms or whatever...) |

OMG!! The same exact thing happens to me. I went to eHealth Forums (www.ehealthforum.com) and a lot of people around my age (I'll be 16 in less than a month) were having the same problem!! It's soooo annoying, happens even when I'm not hungry, and it's very embarrassing too, especially in a quiet room. I try to eat as much as I can before classes, but sometimes it STILL happens!! This all started in my freshman year of high school (which as I've seen is a quite common age to start having this problem). I don't know if it's a disorder, it's just REALLY annoying and bothersome. I want it to stop soon or I'm gonna have a heck of a time in college! Can anyone help us? I'd appreciate it! |
