My unborns babys heart rate has gone up 10 beets in 1 week.

I was in a car accident 2 weeks ago when I was 10 weeks. When they did an ultra sound they said my babys heart rate was 170. 1 week later at a check up they said the babys heart rate was 180. My doctor said it was high and we had to keep an eye on it but not to worrie. What could make my babys heart rate pick up so much in one week? What can cause a high heart rate. What can I do to help my babys heart rate stay down?

Fetal heart rates vary from the very low 110 to the very high 190. It varies depending on your energy level and what you've been doing, as well as how active the baby is. Sometimes when the baby is sleeping the heart rate might be 130, but the next day it will be 165 or more.
