My bloodwork & xrays come back normal limits most of the time. Ive had Other IBS /Chrohns likes symptoms the past 7 years eversince I had my first routine endoscope, GI prpblems started the next day. Gallbladder stopped working in 01. Drs took my gall bladder and appendix most recently cut my bile duct. My 1st Colonoscopy when active showed an unknown bacteria. Its shown up each time I was active again. HMMMMM.
But my symtoms recently are new.Recently I can hardly eat. I bloat after eating and sometimes after drinking. I Have severe right side pain getting continually worse for past 2 yrs , and sometimes terrible burning in stomach. Can't lay on my right side at all. Nausea. CT scan showed no tumors. Im Short of breath. Depressed. Rash sometimes near rectum. Sometimes gi tract slows so much no sounds can be heard. Constipated.
Don't think GI doctors know what to look for in people like me. My Quality of life stinks when I feel this bad. Read somewhere about blastocystis, its some mystery paracite or bacteria that is rarely treated or diagnosed. If anyone hears of a doctor or university study that is interested in mystery Gastrointestional disorders like mine, let me know.
