Hey there,

I'm 27 and I seem to have contracted some weird penis condition which so far 3 doctors have not been able to figure out. I'm posting this just in case anyone's come across something like this before.

Roughly about 2 months ago The foreskin of my penis would become red and slightly irritated after I masturbated. Also, the opening on my penis head would itch sometimes after I ejaculated. I am not cut, but I shower every day and clean it well so I did not think it was an infection. I left it in hope it would be a temporary thing. When I did not masturbate is was completely fine. After a few weeks it got worse so I went to see a doctor - that is then things started to go downhill.

I was told it is a fungal infection and was given a cream to apply 3 times daily for week - what a pain, but I did as doc told me. Towards the end of the treatment the tip of me penis became sore, sensitive and there was a sharp pain for a few minutes after I urinated. I assumed it was because of that damn cream. So, when the treatment finished I thought the pain would go away, but it just got worse and worse until even walking became somewhat uncomfortable. I

went to another doc and explained what happened - they gave me another cream - they said it would take the pain away and that the pain was just a reaction to the first cream. They also took some urine samples fro STD tests (like hell - I've been with the same partner for over 2 years) So I started to apply this 2nd cream - and waited for the test results to come thought. This cream was to be used for just 5 days and that was also when the test results were to come back. After 5 days the tests came back saying I was fine. The cream, however, did nothing for me - I was still in a bit of pain during, and after urination. I finally found some OTC medicine for urinary tract infections - and that took the pain away after just 4 days.

All would have been well, but the original problem was back just a few days later when I took my penis for a test-drive after a of those creams. Also, as an alarming extra, the foreskin of my penis had started to retract - it was no longer covering the whole head of my penis as before, but slid back at least 15% and exposed the top part of my penis head. when it was very cold, my whole foreskin started to fold inwards like a snail or something - like my penis decided to have an image change. I went to a 3rd doc and told him all of my woes. He inspected my penis and said that he noticed some "growth" on the bottom of my foreskin - he said perhaps these are causing "structural problems" to my foreskin when I masturbate and go red, thereby inflaming the rim of my foreskin. He gave me some soap-free cream to wash my penis with when I shower and told me to get back to him if things get worse.

Right now I have no idea what to do - things are not getting worse, but they are not getting better. My partner returns from overseas in a few weeks and I want to have a normal functioning penis. I know this is a rather detailed account, but there are too many penile disorders that sound too similar and the minor details count. If you have experienced anything like this before or have heard of it then please let me know.
