Hello! I have heard for cases when babies got hydronephrosis. Regarding the fact that I am pregnant, I want to ask you how I can do tests and make sure that my baby does not have problem with neonatal hydronephrosis. I am not expert in medicine field but I have heard that you are. Thank you in advance!

Hello! Well, if you want to check this, then you will need to do some tests before your baby is born. You will need to do following tests: fetal ultrasound and urine tests. These test will show if your baby has neonatal hydronephrosis. But, after birth you should pay attention on your baby, too. Maybe it will be needed more tests: blood, urine, etc. Anyway, if you notice that your baby has pains temperature or red urine, you should contact doctor as soon as possible.
