How you can be sure that someone in your family has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I think my mom does, but I can tell for sure. Did anyone notice in their family something like this?

I recently, along with my brother and with help from the therapist, have come to the conclusion that my father must have Narcissistic Personality Disorder. My question is how do I get over all of the anger, pain, hurt? I’ve been to lots of counseling, but I can never seem to just let it all go. I feel like something needs to be released, but I just don't know how.
