Hello,
If you are really dealing with Narcisist, you have some hard times. If you are old enough I would recommend leaving her as soon as possible (without feeling guilty!!!) The nature of Narcisists' personality disorder is so profound that Narcisists damage everyone who comes into contact with them- by everybody I mean even their own children. The situation for an outsider is unimaginable. The symptoms that show a person is Narcisist is:
- person has a extreme sense of self- importance
- thinks or fantasies of unlimited success, power, ideal things, beauty, ¡K
- believes that is understood by special and important people (like them selves)
- Narcisist require special attention and admiration
- has arrogant behavior
- is envious of other and thinks that others envy him/ her
- has expectations that are unreasonable
- Narcisist is interpersonally exploitative, for example she/ he takes advantage of others to achieve own goals
- Narcisist lacks empathy and is unwilling to recognize the feelings of others
¡K in short Narcisist is always right and everybody else is wrongƒº
Do you see your mother inhere? My suggestion avoid Narcisist- in your case Narcisist is your mother and yes she needs a therapist, who she probably won¡¦t visit¡K
It¡¦s easy for me to say, but don¡¦t take it too personally, ¡¥cos if you do¡Kin a few years you¡¦ll be a nervous wreck.
Good luck dealing with your mother.
