My sinuses are constantly clogged by mucus: I am allergic to pollen. Someone mentioned to me a nasal irrigation as a possible solution for the amounts of mucus stuck in my nostrils. How safe is that therapy?

Nasal irrigation is a procedure that uses a saline solution to cleanse the nasal passages. With water and baking soda it is infiltrated into nostrils by some kind of container. Baking soda improves the solution because it easily cleanses nasal passages from sticky mucus, pollen, other contaminants; it even improves breathing… It is quite efficient medication. For your safety, you shouldn't inhale it more than twice a day.
