Hi, my grandfather is having nausea lately. I thought it must be because of some medicines he is taking for Parkinson disease. Lately, I noticed he is also losing weight. What could be the reason for this?

Hi, since your grandfather is affected by this severe disease, you probably know that his condition will degrade more and more over years. It is a slow, debilitating disease. At the final stages he could be bed –ridden and unable to move. His weight will decrease gradually, and he will probably have good appetite all this time. If he has any digestive disorders it is recommended to give hi some infusions with vital nutrients. As for nausea, it can be side effect of many medicines, but also his center for balance may be getting weaker.
