Need help - dark orange mucus coming out of my nose!

After my shower this morning, I bent over and orange liquid started pouring out of my nose. I had no symptoms before this occurrence.

This just happened to me as well.

I have not been sick for about 2 months and i do not feel like anything is bothering me, ear infection, sinus infection, flu, cold etc...

The last 2-3 days i have had a runny nose for no reason at all. I felt like i was doing coke cause it would drip out of nowhere.

Then just now, i blew my nose and there was the orange mucus...

After reading all this, i feel better cause im not dying....

the only difference wiht me and most posts i have read is i am not sick and havent been but the posts i have read the users have stated being sick so,.....

Off and on over the years I have had bouts of a sore area under the eye and ear then I have this sudden release of clear orange fluid which spills on the floor. Bending my head down adds more fluid, The pain disappears with the release of the fluid. The diagnosis I got first was nasal infection but the specialist told me it is not infecton but a cyst in the sinus cavity which fills with fluid and causes the pain and then bursts to give relief. He says there is an operation if the problem is severe. I am 77 years old and get the problem every few years. I will probably just live with it. It was a relief just to know what it is!
