Negative pregnancy test results could they be accurate?

I had unprotected relationship with my life partner.I missed period in August after two weeks I took pregnancy test and the results were negative After two weeks again took another one the result were negative again. In September I had my periods but for a day and not as normal. I took another test early saturday morning but still negative results.This week as I count is suppose to be the eighth week, no clear signs of pregnancy today I went to see a GP and could not confirm that I am pregnant . Could you please advise.[/code]
