Hi everyone,
I wanted to throw my situation into the mix and get some opinions. My last period started on January 21st. Here it is March 21st and I still haven't had a period. My cycles are like clock work and have been for the last 6 years since my son was born. Hubby and I have protected sex (condoms) so I don't think I could be pregnant. However at the two month late mark, I started feeling different. My first thought was "I feel pregnant". I had a few days of spotting here and there but nothing ever more than a spot at a time. I did take a pregnancy test last week just to see but it was negative. I'm under no more stess than every day life provides. I guess my question is, is there a chance I could be pregnant even though I had protect sex and the test came back negative?

when i conceived my baby. i was 20 days late for my period and almost each day i do home test and shows negative result. i have my period regularly so it was very uncommon for me to be delayed. only felt some twinge on my left groin and noticed i've been belching a lot but no mornng sickness. i went to the GP and had a blood test to confirm and yet i still tested negative. Gave up hopes of being pregnant but symptoms still persisted. After a week i did another home test out of curiosity. Guess what? I AM PREGNANT! Would u believe i'm already 6 weeks pregnant before I had a positive pregnancy test!

Its so refreshing to read everyone's comments and to know that Im not the only person who seems ot be having these problems. I havnt had a period since August 30th. That means I havnt had a period for 80 days! I thought I was pregnant (as my partner & I have been having unprotected sex). I have taken 4 HPT's since October, have taken one urine test at the Doctors and Have had a blood test done...all have come back NEGATIVE!

I havnt had tender breasts, but I have had an increase in headaches, gastro (stomach aches), I've been really tired and I've been eating more. I have put on about 4 kg's since August and all of it has been around my mid-section. My pants are tighter, cant even button up some of them. I had tests done for thyroid problems and aneimia, and other things but all came back clear. Have not been under any stress at all. I have been booked in for a pelvic scan this thursday to check my ovaries and see if everything's ok. Hopefully I can then get an explanation as to why I havnt gotten my period for so long. I have never had irregualr periods before, am worried that it might be something serious.

PostPosted: 11/22/07 - 00:27    Post subject: Negative Blood Test Vote now! Reply with quote

I have been feeling vague, ill and light headed lately. My TSH is high suddenly after I have been balanced for some time since my radioactive iodine treatment for tyroid cancer. My period has been weird (can happen with thyroid problems) and my breast are sore and I keep feeling like I am having let downs (I have a 2 year old I know the sensation).

My blood test came back nagative but now almost a month later my symptoms are morr pronounced and I am almost 100% convinced I am pregnant. Reading your stories gives me hope that maybe I am pregnant and that is why my thyroid is playing up, I sure hope so Very Happy

The exact same thing is happening to me right now. I FEEL pregnant but two tests have come back negative. In previous pregnancies I have had a positive test result, but those times I never tried until I was about 6 weeks pregnant and this time I tested 3 days after my period was due. I used the first response test which is supposed to detect hcg up to 4 days BEFORE your expected period so I thought for sure it would pick it up if I was pregnant. I don't really know what to do.
