Hello! I started to take two baby aspirins a day since I heard everyone over age 40 should take it as a preventive measure. But I have noticed that my heart start to skip each time I take aspirin and I am also very nervous. Could this nervousness and heart skipping after taking two baby aspirins be a sign that I am allergic to aspirin? I am forty six years old and my periods are not that regular any more. Is it somehow connected?
Hi! The same happens to me, sometimes my heart beats very fast for few seconds and it feels like it skips a beat or two. I know that most people feel the same from time to time. My friends say that it is connected to your age, as you get older you will probably have heartbeats that feel different. But, if this happens too often and if you feel dizziness at the same time you have to visit your doctor. Also, your nervousness could be connected to your hormones and your periods but you really have to talk to your doctor.
